Senior Citizen's home.

Last year, I made a trip back to my home state of Sarawak. I met my cousin Jeffery Kong for the first time. He had told me that he was a manager of two senior citizen's homes. I ask if I could visit. I was very impressed with the place and how he treated his customers. He said he treated them as customers because the customer is always first.
I took a few impromptu photos including this one with the oldest customer. I came home and wrote my The Playgroup Club book. Jeffery had inspired me to write about a senior citizen's home. As I was writing, I remembered I used to visit a senior citizen with my daughter Deborah.

Locks of love

Once, I kept my healthy hair to my waist. I didn't know abt this donation, and the hairdresser didn't also. After I cut it, people asked me. So sayang. I had such luscious jet black hair.
I wrote in my latest book, and about a woman with cancer and donated her hair. The Playgroup Club.
Guidelines For Acceptable Donations. http://www.locksoflove.org/get-involved/
Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable.
10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece.
Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid.
Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable. If unsure, ask your stylist. We are not able to accept bleached hair due to a chemical reaction that occurs during the manufacturing process. **If the hair was bleached years ago and has completely grown out it is fine to donate.

Auckland University and The Playgroup Club

My 9th book is now circulated in my Alma Mater. When I was studying at the Old Arts building and Choral Hall, I probably never thought of writing books, needless to say I would find my books in the library.
